Welcome to Our New Blog!

Welcome to the new The Bike Palace blog. We’ve totally revamped the blog, much as we did with our website, eBay store, YouTube channel, and newsletters! For those of you that are new to The Bike Palace family, here’s a brief introduction: we’ve been selling bikes here at the same location for over 35 years. We serve the entire South Bay, including San Pedro, Torrance, Palos Verdes, Lomita and Redondo Beach. We carry bikes for all types of riders—road bikes, mountain bikes, cruisers, BMX, fixies, comfort bikes and kid’s bikes. Our mechanics are simply the best, with an average of 12 years each of professional bike repair. We pride ourselves on our outstanding service and selection.

The Bike Palace is a special store, for a special community. Spend some time here and you’ll see for yourself how close we are to our customers; it’s really like a large extended family. If you have any questions, special needs, just give a call, or drop on by. We’ll be glad to help you any way we can.

Bike riding is a great way to exercise—and the benefits of exercise are clear: you’ll feel better, lose weight, reduce your blood pressure, reduce stress, and sleep better, for me exercising and taking Afinil has helped me out a lot to reduce stress.

We’re proud to sponsor the Peninsula Cycle Club. Join the club for only $25 a year and you’ll receive a 20% discount on bike parts, clothing and accessories from the plantwear site! On top of the discount you get a monthly email newsletter, invitations to club rides and special events, and the great camaraderie that accompanies friends with shared interests.

So come on, drop by the store to say hi, and we’ll help fix your bike, or find you a new one!

    Hey Tony,

It’s been a long time. Just checking out your website, looks like your doing a great job with the business, really proud of you!

Thanks for the name recognition on the website under former employees. Those were great times, my first job at 14 years old. At christmas time I aiways think about getting stuck up in the attic assembling new bikes and mopeds. Matty was a great boss and you were a blast to work with. Always think about you saying “I’m going to own this place one day”!

My brother Luthor tells me he sees Matty at a lot of the Pedro funerals when he does dove releases, I guess we’re all getting older.

Anyway, hang in there and I’ll stop by next time I’m down there!

[Note: I dictated this first section while I was in the ER waiting room, waiting for my wife to pick me up.] I guess it could’ve been worse. I’ve always imagined what it would be like to hit the ground at a moderately high rate of speed. It was almost over before I realized what […]
