A Joyous BBQ & Sale

A great time was had by all last Saturday at The Bike Palace summer sale kickoff BBQ! Chef Bob cooked up about 120 cheeseburgers, hot dogs and New Orleans-style hot links (which were really popular). We had the Webber BBQ set up out on the sidewalk and we just kept feeding customers non-stop. Everybody was in a great mood, bought lots of bikes and even the weather cooperated, providing us with a warm, sunny, world-class Southern California summer day.

Brad House had handed out flyers that morning at his POLAPen Omnium hill climbing time trial, resulting in a large turnout of riders from the event at the BBQ/Sale. One rider, Jon Trimble, had driven from Las Vegas to ride in this, his first bike race! His quite respectable 25:38:00 finish was only about one minute behind Brad himself. After the race Jon came down to The Bike Palace to enjoy a burger and check out the bargains.

Tony was hard-pressed to get away long enough from the hectic pace on the showroom floor to try one of the cheeseburgers.

You may have missed the free burgers and dogs, but don’t despair, the sale prices continue through the end of August! All of our in-stock 2011 and earlier bicycle models are on sale. Get the deals while you still can!
